life

Life is a continual process of birth and death, creation and decomposition, giving forth and letting go. Out of the ashes the phoenix is born.  As the autumn leaves fall we are reminded winter will soon be upon us – a time of reflection, of casting off the robes of this past year to prepare for a new coat in the approaching spring.  Now it is the time of gratitude – for all we have, for all we are and all we can be, for those who are with us, for those who came before, for all the creatures and fauna that make this earth a wonderous place.

I am thankful for the scientific method’s form of communicating and having the intellect to know what to do with the knowledge gained from proof and quanta.

I am thankful for my family and friends and all that I have learned from them. I have gained so much knowledge through their thoughts and actions. The willingness to help others through hard times, create art, and appreciate the moment are key in my life.

I’ll never forget the time Queenie kept me warm in your car while you were doing a show at the Willow’s. Such a precious and beautiful spirit.

Queenie, I will miss you like a Wolf. The moon is full and I sing to you. Rest now, sweet girl, and the pack will keep watch as you drift back into everything.
